  If you want to learn about new concepts or new theories then buy a book.
  But if you want to be inspired by a man with a lot of power and charisma then listen to this podcast. It really cool!

  First of all I want to thank you for this great information and for inspiring me to start my own blog on similar issues to the ones that you talk about (www.manifesting.net).
  
  You know my feelings about all this as we've had some email exchanges but I would like to comment also for the sake of your readers. You say you are going to write about "The logistics of liberation" (great title btw), but "liberation" is 10% about money and 90% a state of mind. People are becoming obsessed with "passive income businesses" (so-called "make money while you sleep") and this has spawned a whole class of "internet marketing gurus" who make more money than 99.9% of the businesses that are spawned by their hapless clients.   and while I don't want to discourage anybody from making the attempt, my feedback is that the pursuit of money for the sake of freedom is, in most cases, not a winning cycle. Much better is to find something that you love to do on the internet and do it (and maybe if you're lucky you will able to monetize it); and failing that, just resolve to live your life as passionately, as meaningfully and openly as you can within your current contrainsts and see what develops. I am currently working a 40 hour job that does not enthrall me, but the financial security and stability that has resulted (after being broke for four years) has freed up an enormous amount of creative energy that has totally transformed my life.

  Very interesting and useful interview! I took notes on a few of the authors mentioned (Dan Kennedy, John Carlton)... Would be awesome if you could post a list of all the resources that were brought up. Additionally, my preference for these would be as 1/2 hour segments (part 1, part 2) versus one hour-long interview. Looking forward to the next one (=

  Great interview! I now have a slew of books to look into. I had never heard of many of these books, despite "lurking in internet marketing" and "lurking in law of attraction/success" type of areas for over 4 years.

  This is in a similar vein to a previous comment I left on another post, but I wanted to add to what Marc said. People are being led to believe (not by this website, of course, but those Marc referred to) that freedom can only be had by making oodles of money and working a couple of hours a day (or week!). I think this attitude is completely missing the point. It's all wrapped up in marketing and consumerism and thus panders to the very evils that people who pursue freedom are trying to escape from. The truth is that very few people can make huge amounts of money doing small amounts of work, and it is far better for readers to work on reducing the amount they need to live on than to chase dreams of becoming a millionaire "the easy way".

  chris, wow an amazing story and a beautiful outcome and a beautiful reward from god, a family. we have to go through some bad times to get to the good. you were good at heart when you were young just anxious to have it all instantly . you should be proud you got it all the right way. to help others is the best reward of all.

  I am in the process of creating the life of my dreams. Actually, I have been saying for some time that I'm already living the life of my dreams, it's just that I have lots of dreams.
  
  Downsizing, eliminating and asking tough questions have helped me to create a life that most would just shake their head at. Thank God!
